Foreign news agencies reported from New Delhi, India on February 22 that India and Brazil have enhanced cooperation in key minerals and clean energy, accelerating the goal of achieving higher trade value addition, as well as continuing joint industrial and defense cooperation.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva held talks in New Delhi, where the two countries reached an agreement to enhance cooperation in key minerals and rare earths.
Narendra Modi said the agreement was an important step in building such a relationship, as Brazil is the second largest producer of important minerals in the world, which are essential for the production of everything from electric vehicles (EVs), solar panels, smartphones to machinery and chips.
